The opening theme, stated fast and loud. Multilingual content systems and large-scale platforms across an international entertainment portfolio — the technical depth the whole work develops.
“The Practice” — six movements on twenty years of shipped work
I design products at the seam where intent becomes interface — where a half-formed idea has to choose what kind of system it wants to become.
AI didn't shrink the design problem. It made it about judgment — which is to say, about phrasing: what to play, what to leave out, and when to bring the brass in.
The opening theme, stated fast and loud. Multilingual content systems and large-scale platforms across an international entertainment portfolio — the technical depth the whole work develops.
The big ensemble writing. Global prototyping teams led across offices and product lines; rebrand and personalization work; a generation of prototypers brought up through the section.
Quick, precise, virtuosic. High-fidelity prototypes for Google Cloud AI, Assistant, and Android — built nightly to settle the morning's arguments between design and engineering.
The slow movement, where the hard things happen quietly. Mobile, voice, and personalization through a digital transformation; recommendation systems made legible to a very full house.
The current movement, still being played. UX across cart, checkout, wallet, account, and self-checkout; AI tooling and education carried through the whole orchestra of the design org.
The figure that runs under everything. AI tools, design utilities, music, video, arcade games — real software shipped most weeks, proof the hands are still in practice.
The fermata holds until you answer. Open to senior IC, lead, and director engagements — tell me what you're building, what's ambiguous about it, and what timeline you're on.
